Take Me Fishing

The Recreational Boating and Fishing Association (RBFF) has developed a wide variety of programs and products that make it easy for people to get involved in recreational boating and fishing. Under their Take Me Fishing™ brand and Anglers’ Legacy™ program, RBFF provides the tools to help people get started.

What they didnt have was outreach to their target audience. Enter StateNets who developed a comprehensive, state by state all out advertising and public relations program reaching rural, C&D county high indexing outdoorsmen.

The funding for the campaign was based on sales of fishing licenses therefore, markets and advertising spend had to match up as well. StateNets worked hand in hand with advertising agency to structure a fair and balanced campagin that included a virtual press conference on over 900 rural radio stations as well as sponsorships of numerous outdoor lifestyle programs. The program was flighted to emphasize the different fishing seasons as well as highlight special events in each state.
