If you are in Radio sales you owe it to yourself to listen in for at least the first 20 minutes to Bob Pittman CEO of Clear Channel, as he discusses Radio’s position in today’s media world.

Some highlights:
-79% of those surveyed said they would be ‘Very to somewhat disappointed’ if their FM radio station were taken off the air.
-Digital audio listening is proving to be ‘in addition’ not instead of listening to terrestrial Radio.
-Radio is second media least liekly to give up. Behind only TV and ahead of Email, telephone and texting.
Set aside some time and watch the first half of Pittman’s presentation. You will thank me.
